We are looking for a Subproject Manager for land and construction work for an authority in the traffic sector.

The assignment is a consulting position based in Stockholm and is full-time.

The assignment involves close collaboration with the client, which places high demands on flexibility and teamwork.

The Assignment

The role of subproject manager involves responsibility for land and construction work up to and including track substructure within a large and complex infrastructure program. The assignment is primarily linked to a comprehensive land and construction contract between Jan Stenbeck's square and Helenelund, but may also include work in other parts of the program. The role requires a good understanding of subsequent BEST work and experience working in complex project environments with many interfaces.

Responsibilities

Ensure that the contract KG24 is executed according to established time, cost, and quality.

Support in the preparation of technical descriptions and administrative regulations (AF).

Review documents based on production experience.

Plan deliveries of documents together with the design management.

Participate in production planning for contract KG24.

Be overall responsible for production work concerning construction work up to and including track substructure.

Follow up and report time, economy, and quality to the project manager.

Manage and follow up changes and additional work (ÄTA) according to the contract and document and report in the project's follow-up system.

Collaborate and coordinate with production managers (civil engineering, land, and BEST), project managers, and other project participants.

Coordinate interfaces with other contracts within the program and operational organization.

Ensure that the contractor follows safety management systems, environmental and occupational health requirements, technical guidelines, and other governing documents and routines.

Represent the project in contacts with external parties such as authorities, suppliers, and contractors.

Manage information efforts towards businesses and third parties.

Participate in inspections and assist in handover to the managing organization.

Requirements (Mandatory)

Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written.

Completed university or vocational education (at least two years).

At least nine (9) years of total work experience in the construction or civil engineering industry, of which five (5) years in a leading production position (e.g., site manager, production manager, construction manager, foreman) in projects in the production phase.

You have worked on at least one (1) large infrastructure project/program with an overall project/program budget of at least 500 million SEK.

You should have railway/tramway work experience from at least one (1) previous assignment.

You should have worked on at least one (1) large infrastructure project/program within a client organization in a municipal, regional, or state authority.

At least four (4) years of work experience as a project manager/subproject manager on the client side in infrastructure projects.

Desirable

At least four (4) years of work experience in railway/tramway projects in densely populated residential areas.

At least four (4) years of work experience in a leading position in railway/tramway work (e.g., site manager, production manager, construction manager, foreman) of a project in the production phase.

Personal Qualities
